This post do interest if you're a professional photographer, a lover of beautiful geek "pebbles", or (like me) a little of both.
I will not test-based academic sights, curve dive and another analysis of vignetting and distortion ... firstly because it bores me, and secondly because it has no interest in an object of this range.
Indeed, the Nikon 14-24 f2.8 has the feature (besides its price somewhat prohibitive ...) to be probably the best wide angle zoom market.
the field, even at night or against the light, it is simply excellent: non-existent chromatic aberration, color rendering (almost) perfect, and provided close to at least one stop, sharpness and vignetting imperceptible incredible in angles. The hardware on which we can count!
His only flaw (and making it a goal to book specific to certain uses) is its prominent front lens ... will prevent its use in conditions too dangerous;)
